Thank you for choosing R Computing for your computer repair needs. To ensure a transparent and satisfactory experience, please read the following terms and conditions:
Pricing and Spares:
- The price listed is per computer and does not include the cost of any spares required for repair.
All charges are subject to applicable taxes.
No Fix, No Fee:
- If I am unable to fix your computer, you will not incur any service charges, and I will refund your money..
Examination and Remote Access:
- By authorising R Computing, you allow us to examine your computer to assess the nature of the damage and provide an estimate for repair cost and timing.
For repairs conducted remotely, you authorise R Computing to access your computer to address specific software issues discussed via email or phone.
Software and Data:
- Please provide all purchased software for installation after system crash or Windows re-installation.
- It is your responsibility to back up all data on your computer before bringing it to me or start a remote repair session. Alternatively, I can offer data backup services for an additional charge.
Data Loss:
- R Computing will not be held responsible for any lost data. I strongly advise backing up all data before using our services.
Client Responsibility for Data:
- If formatting or working on any computer or hard drives, it is your responsibility to inform us in writing of any data to be saved or backed up.
- In the absence of written requests for data backup, R Computing assumes that the computer can be formatted without saving any current data.
- I may contact you to inform you of the need for formatting and data backup, and it is the client's responsibility to request data to be saved.
Limitations of Liability:
- R Computing is not liable for any loss of earnings, financial or non-financial gain, or revenue during the course of any work being carried out.
- I cannot be held responsible for any loss or corruption of data during the repair process.
Unclaimed Items:
- Any items left with R Computing unclaimed for 90 days will be disposed of, and we shall have no liability to you or any third party.
Warranty:
- I provide a 30-day warranty on all hardware and software repairs conducted by R Computing.
Goods Availability:
- All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will refund any payment made. We will not be liable for any compensation or damages arising from our inability to supply goods.
Payment:
- For remote repair services, full payment is take during the remote session booking process.
- If the repair service cannot be completed remotely, a full refund will be issued.
- For local repair services, payment is due in full upon the successful completion of the repair, prior to the release of the repaired machine.
Any estimates or quotes provided are valid for a period of 5 days from the date of the estimate or quote.
